We’re a young team of product engineers, passionate about everything concerning personal mobility. Optima Engineering once started as the creative force that shaped the Optima recumbent bicycles and trikes programme. During the years, our expertise and professionalism has attracted many third parties with different engineering requests. We are currently expanding our services to cater more and more diverse projects and clients. We have staff with technical master and bachelor degrees who all share a passion for personal mobility.
What can we do?
Our services include: - Modelling and detailing using (in-house) CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks Premium) - FEM analyses to study products’ strength/stiffness or even injection moulding simulations - Conceptualization of product ideas including general feasibility analysis - Create renderings or animations to communicate your product ideas to others - Craftsmanship; we can lathe, mill and weld steel and aluminium to create functional prototypes - We can evaluate existing designs and provide recommendations for cost-price-reduction and mass production (DFA / DFM) - and much more…
